All our hides are professionally tanned.
We remove all cartilage and inert ear liners to ensure lasting stability.
All nose pads are rebuilt and retextured. Artificial septums are inserted.
When preparing antlers to affix to manikin we cut the skull cap extra-large to preserve original
eye-to-antler alignment.
All hides are removed with a short-7 incision to minimize seam length (unless caped prior to arrival).

When soliciting prices ask the taxidermist how they prepare the hide.
Ask what method is used to ensure eye-to-antler alignment.
Ask how ears are prepared to ensure a natural look that will last.
Ask how the nose is prepared and finished.
If your taxidermist avoids providing detail on their methods you may want to find
another taxidermist. A professional taxidermist will always provide a complete
overview on how your mount will be prepared
